I just wanted to say thank you both very much for showing my daughter and I around Stock Ghyll Cottage, my childhood home, on our recent visit to Bowness-on-Windermere. Whilst it evoked many fond memories it was also nice to see how the many alterations you have made to the property really set it off. Beautifully decorated rooms, picturesque gardens and a friendly welcome. I hope to revisit the Lakes soon and stay for a couple of nights. Needless to say, Stock Ghyll will be our first choice. Once again, thankyou.

This was our first visit and wont be our last.
Ian&Sue.Greated with a worm welcome and friendly atmosphere it felt home from home. A fantastic breakfast,home made bread and jams and the best bed in the world.
